Eric Christensen

Eric joined Lonin in 2018 and began studying Kunst des Fechtens, focusing on Joachim Meyer’s 1570 treatise, Foundational Description of the Free, Knightly, and Noble Art of Fencing. Initially drawn in by the beautiful woodcuts and the excellent poofy pants, he stayed for the elegant and technical joys of Meyer's fencing. He teaches longsword, dussack, and sidesword, with an emphasis on historical plays mixed with modern fencing games.
