We are gratified to see a flowering of academic activity and study materials on the Web and elsewhere. There are some great resources out there for the Western martial arts student. This list is by no means comprehensive, but focuses on Fiore subject matter.

• Sword School curriculum wiki
  Guy Windsor is videotaping his curriculum and posting it on Youtube. This website provides a handy index into these curriculum videos, which are hosted on Mr. Windsor’s Youtube channel.
• The Exiles / Fiore Project
  Home page to the Exiles translation projects. PDF downloads for Flos Duellatorum and Fiore de Battaglia.
• Wikipedia entry on Fiore dei Liberi
  A great introduction to this legendary figure and the extant copies of his fight book.
• The Knightly Art of Battle, by Ken Mondschein
  Produced in cooperation with The Getty Museum in Los Angeles, this introductory guide to Fiore de Battaglia is a must-have study resource for students of Fiore.

• Many of our members buy training swords from Gus Trim. He does not have an online presence at this time, but contact us if you would like us to hook you up with him.
• Arms and Armor
  Minneapolis-based sword making company that makes great training swords. Check out their fechterspiel, an ideal training weapon for longsword students.
• Tinkerswords
  Tinker Pearce is a member of our group and is a master sword and knife maker.
• Purpleheart Armoury
  Maker of blunt training weapons including the ultimate plastic waster. There are various coaches in our community who disdain plastic weapons, but we find them pretty great for power training on the tire pell.
• Terry Tindall
  Terry supplies much of the European martial arts community with his high quality helmets and gorgets. His waiting list for complete helmets is extremely long – many months – but if you are willing to do some leatherwork, you can purchase a starter mask with much less wait time.
• Zen Warrior Armory
  Great outfit serving the SCA and European martial arts community with high quality fencing equipment. Their Zen Warrior Mask 2000 is very usable for our purposes. They have a custom-made fencing tunic that is reasonably priced and provides good protection.
